Ermanently installed on-roof work stand above two neighbouring workshop lanes to work on hydrogen buses. Each roof work stand is equipped with two work platforms and a crane (load capacity 1 tonne). The steel / aluminium construction consists of 2 work platforms per workshop lane. The work platforms facing each other are connected to provide additional room for material storage and a workplace. To save space, the access is via a shared staircase with a self-closing safety door. Attached emergency ladders serve as additional escape routes.

The work platforms have a total length of 20 metres. Equipped with variable guardrails between the work platforms, they can be used for solo buses (12m) and articulated buses (18m). The platform height is 3 metres. Electrically movable extensions ensure a close connection to the vehicle (gap dimension "0"). The extensions are equipped with electronic collision protection to prevent damage to the vehicle. The position of the platforms is indicated at both ends of the roof work platform by a signal system / traffic light. An intelligent railing system consisting of fixed and plug-in components ensures the necessary anti-drop protection in all operating conditions.

An integrated workstation on the upper level enables efficient working thanks to reduced walking distances. LED lighting with at least 500 LUX below the platforms enables safe working even on the lower level.
