Mobile roof work stand for a railway engine workshop, electrically movable, rail-guided. The chassis has a width of approx. 1200 mm and runs on castors driven by geared motors. It enables simultaneous work on vehicles on 2 parallel tracks. The working platforms on the left and right are individually height-adjustable and allow access to higher areas, including access to the roof. Electrically sliding access platforms close the gap between the working platform and the vehicle. Access is secured by a traffic light system. A safety circuit enables the platform to be operated from 1 control unit only. The individual work platforms are equipped with power and compressed air connections for tools. The work area is illuminated by 2 LED spotlights.
