The military docking systems are working platforms for the maintenance and repair of aircraft and helicopters. ALTEC has more than 23 years of experience in the manufacturing of docks. Get advantage of our expertise in this area!

In preparing the ALTEC docks we rely largely on stable welded construction and avoid, if possible, screwing and riveting individual elements in order to ensure a high durability of the systems.

In addition, we rely on aluminum profiles for the production and we try as far as possible to avoid steel structures in order to achieve the lowest possible weight and thus the easiest handling. In addition, all-aluminum docking systems offer, due to the corrosion resistance of the material, an advantage for storage outside of buildings.

Rotating or circular and foldable railings together with specific fall protection for the wings allow safe operation even at higher levels.

The use of drawbar eyes and spring mounted wheels with a standard diameter of 400 mm makes it possible to move the individual platforms at speeds of up to 5 km / h, even between several hangars.

By default, the platforms are designed for a surface load of 2.0 kN / sqm. The construction of the docks is carried out in accordance with a statistical analysis made in advance, which is subject to review by the TÜV (Technical Inspection Agency).

In the manufacture of docks we proceed as follows:

  • Measurement of the aircraft with a special 3D laser

  • Construction of the entire dock or individual parts, such as Wing or tail dock, using a 3D software Autodesk Inventor

  • Discuss the design concept with the client and if requested adjust to the needs of customers

  • Detailed design

  • Production of individual parts with a size that can be transported by standard trucks, and Quality Control at the site

  • Partial disassembly, transport and final assembly at the customer

  • Final inspection, training of employees of the customer and the delivery of the documentation (dock book, certificates, etc.)
